My Story

When you use a soap puff, liquid soap is great. However, using liquid soap produces plastic waste. Yes, we could package in glass, except glass isn’t friendly in a soapy, wet environment.

Soap puffs are great for gently buffing away dead skin cells, yet the inventor designed them to work with liquid soap. They don’t solve the problem of small slivers of bar soap. For a while, I used a Dollar Tree bath mitt designed for little kids. There sat a pink “fish” with soap scraps in it. It was a total mismatch with my bathroom’s color scheme. However, the other choices were bright blue or lime green. The mitt worked to hold the small soap bits, yet it had a major disadvantage. It got slimy! Yuk!

I tried net gift bags. Gentle, but holes developed in the fabric quickly.

I looked into sisal soap holding bags. They were too rough for thin senior skin. Too much tug and pull. No one wants to enhance wrinkles! I wanted something gentle that lasts—preferably something made in the U.S. Then I found the Simply Body Soap Net.
